Where can I get free hosting?

Free web hosting is hard to find - at least it is hard to find good, reliable and free hosting!
Free VPS
The only place I can suggest getting a free VPS from would be Oracle Cloud Free Tier. With this you can get two free x86/x64 servers (although these are limited to 1/8th of a CPU each) and up to four ARM - based servers.
Not everything seems to work on ARM servers at the moment but most stuff you will want to use on a free server will do.
Whilst a number of other companies do provide 'free' servers these are only for a certain length of time. They tend to give you free credit which, once used up, means your server is no longer free and you are having to pay for it.
The above offer from Oracle is not subject to this change provided you stay within their limits.
Free shared hosting
If you only want to get a static site online then something like GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages should work for you.
Otherwise I cannot reccomend any free shared hosting. It would be much better to try to find some good offers around the web if you can't afford much.
